Bikinis, Spring Break, & Lust, OH MY!

I'm tired of seeing these supposedly "christian" college girls posting pictures of themselves in skimpy bathing suits hanging all over guys at the beach. As a guy, yes, I admit that it is attractive, but as a follower of Christ it hurts me to see my sisters in Christ acting like this. They portray themselves as strong believers and on fire for The Lord, but then they go and lead others into sin by dressing like that exposing almost all their body tempting and causing their brothers in Christ to think lustful thoughts.

The apostle Paul taught on this to the  church at Corinth.
"Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak.  For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols?  So this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge.  When you sin against them in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.  Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall."
-1 Corinthians 8:9-13

Just because we are free in Christ to do something, doesn't mean we should do it. Somethings, although they in and of themselves are not bad, can lead others astray. That's what these girls are doing.

So, if you are a girl and you are reading this, please do yourself and others a favor and think twice about how you dress and show some more respect for yourself.
